Katedra za urbanizam, prostorno planiranje i pejsažnu arhitekturu
The book Twenty-Five Centuries of Urban Culture in Croatia, by Bruno Milić, summarizes in one place and unites the topic of the development of cities and settlements on Croatian soil in continuity, from prehistory to the 21st century. Such a comprehensive overview of the urban development of the city in Croatia has not been done in our country so far, so this pioneering work paves the way for further synthesis and review of urban development of Croatian cities, as well as the meaning of these cities in the urban thought of European urban planning. The presentation of the urban development of cities and tourist settlements during the second half of the 20th century is especially valuable, which is the first attempt to synthesize and review recognizable urban achievements of the last few centuries.
