In this course students undertake architectural survey of a more complex building or an ensemble of historical buildings. Using their survey drawings, students proceed with research of historical layers of the building and analysis of its development phases. Contemporary principles in documentation, assessment and conservation of built heritage are presented and discussed.
In addition to skills necessary for leading a surveying team, students acquire basic knowledge required for doing research, field examination, analysis, and conservation projects of built heritage.
