Krunoslav Šmit, architect-urban planner, PhD, is a full professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb. Works in the field of urban, architectural, architectural-urban projects and spatial plans. He is the winner of 17 awards at urban and architectural competitions, six of which are first prizes. In the professional community, he is the leader of notable activities: Urbanism workshop "GUP (General urban plan) - practicum", Zagreb (2005), Workshop Urban transformation program of the "Centar Iza Grada" zone in Dubrovnik: What is public interest? (2010), "The Season of Urbanism" Manifestation, Zagreb (2012), The Project of Urban Revitalization of Public Spaces in the City of Zagreb - "Zagreb for Me" (2015), and the Management Plan for the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Old Town Dubrovnik" (2019-2021).
